Organisations of all sizes and from all corners of Scotland are realising that they can support and help Crimestoppers and take positive action on crime in their communities.

They can also take advantage of the members' event around the country to network. The Crimestoppers Scotland Associate Network is a rapidly growing group of community-minded organisations.

Chief Constable Peter Wilson, John R Brodie - Chief Executive Officer at Scotmid,
Mike Graham, Programme Director at Talk 107 and Chief Constable Paddy Tomkins.

Current members include giants such as BP and Shell, household names BT and Scotmid, shopping centres, restaurants, radio stations, a travel agent, a hotel, security companies and representatives from various other industries.

Three more influential organisations are receiving their membership plaques shortly - check this space for the latest announcements.

Some organisations simply pay their yearly subscription, other become involved in projects either within their local community or in direct connection with their business. Some simply offer use of facilities or even expert advice. Support on any level is highly valued by Crimestoppers Scotland.

As a charity, funding is - of course - always an issue and the yearly subscriptions offer a vital funding stream. Crimestoppers Scotland is able to thoroughly tick most organisations ' CSR 'box'.
