The gloves are off as Bruno weighs in

When it comes to his charity work convener George Glennie always manages to punch above his weight. But this time he had some extra 'muscle' from another big hitter - former World Heavyweight Champion Frank Bruno.

The two bumped into each other - if you know what I mean 'arry? - when Frank was in Glasgow with his agent putting in a personal appearance at an Open Day at United Wholesale (Scotland) Ltd.

Frank signed a pair of boxing gloves held sportingly by Crimestoppers Scotland PA/Administrator Amanda West who's actually a bit of a knock out herself. The white gloves in case raised a clunking great £400.
