MARGARET'S CHOICES

By Sally Cassidy

Oh boy! It’s another Dream Day ahead, girls!

Two dream days, two happy kids and a pile of memories – a once in a lifetime experience!

Last year’s lucky winners 11 year old Amy Miller from Fife and Daniel Stresser from Edinburgh certainly ‘Lived the Life’ after coming out tops in our super competition for young Scots.

The prizes for Crimestoppers Scotland’s ‘Live the Life’ competition was to be a Dream Day and we certainly delivered that.

They were chauffeur-driven in a limo, treated like celebrities and loved every minute, according to their parents.

The spotlight was on Amy and Daniel who were both entitled to bring along three of their pals as they enjoyed their dazzling prizes.

Scottish Parliament Minister Mrs Margaret Curran pulled the winning entries out of the hat. You can see how much they enjoyed themselves by taking part from our pictures.

Now we’re getting ready to do it all again as part of the fabulous Choices for Life tour.

Entry forms will be in every ‘goody bag’ handed out to 60,000 Scots youngsters during the The Choices for Life tour which kicks off with a two-day stint at The Royal Highland Centre, Edinburgh and The Aviemore Conference  Hall on May 24 and 25.

Performances follow at the SECC in Glasgow on May 30 and 31,Kirkwall, Orkney ( with a link to the SECC on May 30) then to on Lerwick, Shetland on June 1.

The Exhibition and Conference Centre in Aberdeen hosts the show on June 5 and 6 with the ‘finale’ performance in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis on June  6 ( link to AECC).

The fun packed event gives youngsters information about drugs, alcohol and smoking and is aimed to equip them to make healthy lifestyle choices and to resist peer pressure at a time when they are making the transition from Primary to Secondary education.

So don’t miss your chance of a lifetime by entering Crimestoppers Scotland’s ‘Live Life’ quiz.
